The genuine friendly and welcoming reputation of the port
of l’Aber Wrac’h were confirmed on the 6
and 7 of July when Aber 2004, a huge maritime festival,
took place.
There was something to please everyone
amonst the wide range of activities both on land and sea.
Musicians, singers, street artists, films, lectures and
expositions provided the line up of entertainment during
these two days in the last stop over port before the Chenal
du Four.
This provided an opportunity for sailors
who wish to carry on to Brest 2004, to quietly prepare themselves,
away from the large crowds.

The small port of l’Aber Wrac’h,
is rich in maritime history with the passage of boats coming
from the north of Europe. Many boats were anchoring here,
giving visitors the opportunity to view this idyllic port
to its best advantage.
